Safesend vs TaxDome

We recently started exploring Taxdome as a solution to replace a lot of other standalone products we use. I was very intrigued after a two hour demo asking lots of questions. 

We currently deliver our tax returns through Safesends and I love the functionality and ease of sending out returns that way. Has anyone switched from delivering returns via SafeSends to Taxdome? Any thoughts? I have been a big SafeSend fan for the past 4 tax seasons and never thought I would consider moving to something else. But a lot of the features TaxDome offers really peak my interest. 

I am trying to increase our automation between products. Our Current Tech Stack: 

-Onvio: DMS & Portals

-MailChimp: Mass Client communication 

- Jotfrom: New client Intake forms 

-Asana: Workflow management 

These are the two paths I am currently considering: 

1. Adopting the client portals through Safesends and possibly Go File Room for the direct integration with SafeSends. 

2. TaxDome for everything (or replacing the all the above tech stack except for Safesend?)

Would love input from anyone who has experience with both software's. The good, the bad, the ugly! Thanks!

  • We used SafeSend and really like it. We do have GFR and now safesend and GFR do work together. We are still testing that functionality and are hoping it works well.
