Tax Live API official mappings

Hi everyone,


I'm working with the ONESOURCE Income Tax Live API and need help finding the official mapping documentation.


I need to map Live API FieldIDs directly to their IRS Form line items (e.g., Form 1120 Line 1a, Form 8990, etc.) for automated data ingestion. The standard XLS Import Templates don't seem to show the relationship between these unique FieldIDs and the physical form lines.


Does anyone know where to find the specific .xsd schemas or Build Reports that cross-reference these?

    Can you please elaborate the requirement which you are exactly looking for. It is also helpful if you can attach the UI screenshots for which you are trying to update the fields.

    Here is an example: I’m looking for an official mapping source (XSD or another format) that allows me to map the Organizer Field ID to the corresponding IRS line number. Thank you.

    Hello Bartlomiej,

    You can locate the ONESOURCE system field identifier for a specific field using the steps below:

    1) Right click on the field within the form.

    2) Click on the Field Info.


    3) Here XrefName is the fieldId column. In this case X85.1245.3 is the fieldId

    Hi,

    Thank you for the guidance, I’m aware that the field ID can be checked directly in the organizer using the Field Info option.

    However, I was wondering whether you also have this information available in a mapping file, preferably in the form of an XSD, where all fields and their corresponding identifiers are listed line by line. That would help us reference the field structure more efficiently.

    Please let me know if such a file exists.

    Hi,

    Unfortunately, at this time, we do not have a consolidated mapping file (such as an XSD) that lists all API fieldIDs and their corresponding tax form line identifiers.
