Sales & Use Tax Configuration Service - Adding Location API to update locations in entities

Looking into Sales & Use Tax Compliance automation and found a gap while trying to build the process.

There are no api to configure locations for entities which I think is a core part of tax compliance because locations close or change ownership and needs to be updated monthly.

Are there any plans to add this functionality?

    This is a real gap and having to handle it manually while everything else is automated breaks the whole pipeline.

    If TR hasn't confirmed a roadmap for this endpoint, a practical interim solution is building a middleware layer that handles location updates via whatever combination of available APIs and scheduled sync jobs covers your use case – it's not ideal, but it keeps the process automated end-to-end without waiting on the vendor.

    That said, if you're building a broader tax compliance automation and hitting multiple gaps like this, it's usually worth designing the integration architecture upfront to accommodate workarounds cleanly rather than patching them one by one.
