Accessing document content via Search API v2

Hi

I am new to the Thomson Reuters API and I am working with Search API v2.

When a search result is returned, the URL to the actual document is embedded within the documentList object.

I am wondering if its possible to read or download the content of the URL without redirecting users to the Thomson Reuters website.

    Hi,

Without directing users to Checkpoint Edge, it is not possible to download the full text from the document URL being returned as part of the response from API. Once the user clicks on the link, the document directly opens in Checkpoint Edge (assuming there is an active session, or it will require sign on). We have print/export features available on the Checkpoint interface.

    Thank You.

Thank you for the response. Since users will need to visit Checkpoint Edge to view the page, is there like an API approach for downloading/exporting the document without the redirect (programatically) or does this also requires the user to visit the page and manually trigger a download?

    Hi ,

Currently do not have an Checkpoint API that allows the import/export of documents.
At this point that can only be done through the Checkpoint Edge website.

    Thank You.
