File Link variable in Rule Builder when sending an automatic email

We are trying to insert the file name from the iSheet Metadata (System Generated "File" column) as a variable in an automated email triggered by a Rule. However, we are unsure how to achieve this using the available variables (please see the attached screenshots for reference).

 

Is it any way or workaround to include the file name in the email content as a variable?

    Hello,
    This column 'File' is automatically generated by the system and is used to establish a connection between the actual file in the files and the corresponding metadata row in the Isheet. As such, it is not suitable for use as a file name.
    To include the file name in automated email rules, please kindly follow the steps outlined below:
    Step 1: Create one workflow.
    Step 2: Add workflow rule.
    Step 3: Click on Trigger-> select File Trigger and add condition.
    Step 4: Click on Action-> Send email->Email content click on insert variable and select File Name.
    SS-1:Workflow Rule Trigger->File
    SS-2:Workflow send email action->Email content->insert variable->select File name

    Thank you very much for the comprehensive response. The instructions are very clear and helpful.

    However, I would like to clarify one point: instead of using a "File Trigger," I would like to set the trigger based on a change in the metadata of a file, not on the file itself. Is there any way to incorporate the file name into the email while triggering the workflow specifically on metadata changes?

    Currently, it is not available in the present version of the application. However, it will consider this feature for future product enhancements.
