Direct recognition UID numbers in a text without RM database.

Do we always need to create a references database with the Reference Manager before inserting references in an article? Is it possible to type in the text of the future article the PubMed UID numbers and then run the Reference Manager to transform those long numbers (UID) into consecutive numbers in the article text with full references information in the end of the article formatted under selected journal style?

There is already database on PubMed web site with identification numbers (UID).

The software would recognize the UID number in a text (like {UID}), connect to PubMed and search their database, recognize the references and copy reference information directly to a text. The Reference Manager is needed to control the style of the journals.
