References in word document

Hi, looking for assistance.

All day referencing has inserted neatly into word document, cite as you write.

Now for unknown reason, references are inserting in as parentheses (not in JAMA style I was using).

I have been into format bibliography in word, attempted to fix. Each time Word states it has encountered an error and shuts down and recovers document.

Any advice?

thanks heaps

sharon

Re: References in word document

Greetings sharon1,

If you're still encountering formatting issues, I'd suggest cleaning up the field codes within this particular Word document:

If the crashing behavior persists after following the instructions found within the linked knowledge base article, I would suggest getting in touch with our Technical Support team:

Re: References in word document

make a copy of the document (backup)

try switching to another output style --

try unformating and reformating (convert to unformatted NOT TO PLAIN TEXT

Perhaps the document has a corruption, and if so, you should run thru the document cleanup steps.
