  • First ever update to new metrics: Five Year Impact Factors and Eigenfactor™ Metrics (available only in JCR® Web)
  • More than 8,000 of the world’s most highly cited, peer-reviewed journals
        o Over 6,500 in the Science edition, and
        o Almost 2,000 in the Social Sciences edition
  • The largest time-trend analyses ever available

Journal Citation Reports includes journals from 3,300 publishers in approximately 227 disciplines, from 60 countries. Here are some other interesting facts:

Are there any suggestions for reporting inconsistencies in the data reported in Web of Science and possibly the Impact Factor? I am looking for someone to contact in this regard. Please help! Thanks!

Update: This week we'll post a list of the titles in the 2008 JCR with their first ever Impact Factor.

@Markengelhard

BIOINTERPHASES encountered a problem during the JCR production that resulted in its failure to appear in the first loading of the JCR 2008 data.

JCR Web will be reloaded with new data in September (final date to be announced), and will include a Journal Impact Factor and other JCR metrics for BIOINTERPHASES.

JCR is a subscription product.  Ask your librarian if your institution has access.

I am a new academic researcher and I am a bit lost in this "academic jungle". I want to know where I can find JCR impact factor for 2008 and 2009. I´ve only found newly updated journals. Please tell me where can I find since I am a bit lost.

Thanks a lot

@Ramiro:

Journal Impact Factors are published in the Journal Citation Reports, a web-only subscription product from Thomson Reuters.  Check with your librarian to see if you have access.
